Apricot seed oil is derived from the highest quality apricot seeds sourced from Kashmir. This is the only source for bull driven oil extracted from Kashmiri apricot seeds. People from Kashmir use this oil to nourish their hair.

Process: this natural traditional process uses huge Vaaghe wood (Albizza odaritissma, called as Syrissa in English and Mimosa Flexuosa in Latin) mortar and pestle. The pestle is driven by bulls at 2-3 rpm. The process produces oils that are rich in macro and micro nutrients including antioxidants as this slow, zero-waste process (no electricity used) of oil extraction is considered superior to cold-pressed methods as they retain more aroma and flavor in addition to nutrients.
