Giving Back

2023

Maadhev instituted small lady farmer awards in the year 2023 by giving out two awards of Rs. 10k to each lady farmer, an award memento, a fruit basket, certificate, shawl and a garland. Maadhev's trust is committed to giving out awards for the next 30 years.

2024

On Feb 9, 2024, at Krishi Vignyaa Kendra of Suttur, Mysore district, Maadhev and supporting patrons awarded 5 lady farmers and an entrepreneur Rs 10K each as part of the giving back to the farming community (picture below). 

2025

For the year 2025, Maadhev and patrons are giving out 25 small lady farmer awards in Bihar, Karnataka and Rajasthan and is planning to expand to a minimum of two awards in each state of India.

We work with the local agricultural scientists of KVKs (Krishi Vignyana Kendra) to select the deserving lady farmers. Here are few shots showing the scientists going to the field and evaluating the crops. The scientists who work at grass root level are also excited to volunteer for this work.
