Coconut oil is derived from the highest quality dried coconut or copra. 

Process: this natural traditional process uses huge mortar and pestle made from Vaaghe wood (Albizza odaritissma, called as Syrissa in English and Mimosa Flexuosa in Latin).  The pestle is driven by bulls at 2-3 rpm. The process produces oils that are rich in macro and micro nutrients including antioxidants as this slow, zero-waste process (no electricity used) of oil extraction is considered superior to cold-pressed methods as they retain more aroma and flavor in addition to nutrients.
